As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
-2 Samuel 22:31 (NIV)

Monday, August 31
Yahweh, Your way is without fault and Your Word proves true. Thank You for giving us a safe refuge in Your loving arms.

Tuesday, September 1
Lift up newly established Bible study groups in Lesotho, Africa, a result of the Lesotho Flying Pastors’ (LFP) visits. MAF has based an LFP pastor couple in the mountains who is hiking to villages each day to lead the studies and follow up with new believers. Pray that the groups would grow and that the people would understand God’s ways.

Wednesday, September 2
Today is “First Day” when MAF staff pause from flights, meetings, and other normal work, and seek God’s loving presence. Pray for open hearts toward the Lord and each other as we rest and enjoy each other.

Thursday, September 3
Lift up Luke and Joy Bryant, a pilot family serving in Papua, Indonesia. Luke flies to remote villages to deliver food, medicine, fuel, and other supplies for missionaries, churches, and communities. Joy worked as a teacher at Hillcrest School for missionary kids in Wamena before God blessed them with a new baby. Pray for the Bryants as they encourage the local people to not be afraid, but to trust in our God.

Friday, September 4
Pray for MAF staff who are working through the constantly changing travel and foreign immigration regulations on behalf of those in MAF who need to travel at this time. Pray for ticketing and visa approval miracles.

Saturday, September 5
Lift up Jon and Cher Cadd, a pilot/mechanic family who has served with MAF in Africa for over 35 years (Zimbabwe and eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.) Currently, they are in Oregon to take care of Jon’s mother. Pray for God’s strength and rest during this season. Pray also for God’s clear direction regarding their next roles with MAF.

Sunday, September 6
Pray for the people of Madagascar (and in other countries) who are suffering financially due to COVID-19. People are starting to sell some of their meager belongings in order to buy food. Pray for the MAF families who are involved in bringing relief to hungry villagers with limited resources. Pray for God’s bountiful provision to make its way to those who are suffering.
