Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, September 28

Praise God that He is leading His children in Christ’s victory (see Scripture above). May MAF staff around the globe spread the fragrant knowledge of the Eternal One to those around them.

  • Tuesday, September 29

Pray for God’s healing for those patients MAF pilots fly, like the eight year old Haitian boy, Weed Walker, who has a large tumor pressing out his eye. No doubt, the medevac flight saved him from a life-threatening bumpy road trip to the nearest hospital in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

  • Wednesday, September 30

Praise the Lord for a good adjustment that Dave and Joy Forney family are making to their new life in Uganda, after serving in Indonesia. Dave is a pilot and mechanic with MAF International in Kampala, Uganda. Please pray that their lights would shine for Christ.

  • Thursday, October 1

Lift up the Lesotho Flying Pastors program as MAF flies Maseru pastors from various denominations for evangelical outreach with the “JESUS” film and to disciple new believers.

  • Friday, October 2

Nick and Jocelyn Frey joined the MAF Democratic Repubic of the Congo program in 2011 and have heartily embraced their roles there. Nick is the program manager and Jocelyn is the team’s communication coordinator. Please pray for them as they raise their children and balance ministry responsibilities in DRC.

  • Saturday, October 3

Pray for the MAF Edutech team in Colombia who are preparing to participate in an event called “4th Missionary Adventure” on October 24th, sharing about technology stewardship. This is an event where missionary organizations are invited to show children a missionary vision and they are expecting 500 children to attend.

  • Sunday, October 4

Lift up the maintenance specialists from many MAF programs who are developing a RAMCO aviation software system to more efficiently keep the entire MAF fleet ready to serve.
