November 18 – November 24, 2019

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
-2 Corinthians 5:21 (NIV)

Monday, November 18
Lord Jesus, you never did anything wrong and yet, for our sake, you willingly became a sin offering on our behalf, bearing all our wrongs, all our sin debt. You did all this so that we could be made right with God, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with the Holy One. Thank You!

Tuesday, November 19
Pray for the Moses family and others who are starting language studies in a foreign land in preparation for their overseas ministry.

Wednesday, November 20
Pray for peace in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is the first Christmas season in three years without potentially scheduled elections, but the political situation remains tenuous.

Thursday, November 21
Lift up Alex and Tricia Ludvicek, a pilot/mechanic family serving in Papua, Indonesia. Pray for them during their trip to the States in November for a short furlough and some training. As they return to Papua, pray that they will adjust well in their new location―Nabire.

Friday, November 22
Pray that MAF passengers can arrive for their flights in a timely way and that MAF pilots can find ways to stay rested. Pictured is Pilot Kenneth Pedersen resting in the shade of the aircraft while waiting for his passengers in Madagascar.

Saturday, November 23
Lift up Kevin and Beth Lynne, an MAF pilot family in Papua, Indonesia. During some unrest in Wamena recently, Kevin helped evacuate mission personnel to Sentani and back again when things subsided. Pray that the deeper issues causing the unrest and violence will be addressed in the community and that Christ’s reconciliation will fill this area with His peace.

Sunday, November 24
Praise God for His protection and safety granted to MAF teams who are serving where there is unrest and violence (Haiti, DRC, Papua, Ecuador and elsewhere.)
