Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, July 11

May God’s grace and peace infuse us with His victory today.

  • Tuesday, July 12

Please lift up Bill and Jan Kilgore, currently assigned to Moody Aviation in Spokane, WA, where Bill is flight instructing future missionary pilots. They have served with MAF since 1988 in a variety of settings, including Africa and Haiti. Pray that as they parent a large family that they will fully rely on the Lord in all situations.

  • Wednesday, July 13

Pray for the new pilot mechanics with MAF/Asas de Socorro Brazil. They are studying in Boa Vista this week with MAF instructor, Tim Johnson. Pray that God would use their training to strengthen the work happening in Brazil with indigenous churches and supporting missions.

  • Thursday, July 14

Lesotho just experienced its first winter storm of the season. Please lift up the Basotho people who are facing food shortages due to the lack of rain. Pray for the MAF team as they follow the Lord’s leading in responding to the food scarcity in this mountainous country.

  • Friday, July 15

Praise God for the bicycles that MAF South Sudan was able to fly in to help mobilize the Medair’s nutrition team do home visits, and reach children in the area of Leer.

  • Saturday, July 16

Pray for Chris and Debra Klynstra who serve as a pilot/mechanic family in Papua, Indonesia. They are settling back into life overseas after a whirlwind mini-furlough in Michigan, New York, and Idaho. Pray that God would continue to cause their ministry to flourish for His glory.

  • Sunday, July 17

Praise the Lord for the successful “maiden” flight of MAF Mozambique’s Caravan aircraft, and the dedication of the Takwane Hybrid Bible—”hybrid” meaning part Takwane, part Portuguese. Pray that this newly translated Scripture will be used by God to transform lives.
