April 20 – April 26, 2020

From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
-Psalm 61:2 (NIV)

Monday, April 20
From our overwhelmed hearts, we call out to YOU, Yahweh-God Almighty. Lead us by Your Spirit to give our feet firm footing on our solid Rock, Jesus Christ. We trust You in every remote place to which You have called us.

Tuesday, April 21
Praise God for His 75 years of faithfulness to MAF! We recognize how marvelously the Lord has provided for this ministry, even during the challenges of this current pandemic. MAF thanks each of you for your generous prayerfulness.

Wednesday, April 22
Lift up MAF pilots and crew as they fly medevacs, as well as medicine and other critical supplies to remote areas.

Thursday, April 23
Lift up Lary and Sheryl Strietzel, a pilot/mechanic family currently serving with MAF in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Lary’s roles have included interim program manager, chief pilot, flight scheduler, maintenance engineer, and even house repairman. Sheryl’s ministry includes supporting Lary, offering hospitality for MAF guests, as well as praying for hospital patients.

Friday, April 24
Pray for MAF passengers like this Swiss teacher who benefited from an MAF emergency relief flight in Bangladesh, allowing her to return home before the country closed its borders to travelers. Pray for MAF staff as they coordinate and comply with various government agencies and changing regulations.

Saturday, April 25
Lift up Tom and Pam Tharp who have been missionaries with MAF for over 30 years. They have served in Zaire (now DRC), Mali, and Kalimantan, Indonesia. Currently, Tom manages the Purchasing and Shipping Department at MAF headquarters in Nampa. They need to increase their monthly support by $600. Please ask God to meet this need.

Sunday, April 26
Pray for all MAF staff and their families (national and international) as they adjust to a time of more restrictions. Pray that they use this time to allow God to work deeply in each heart and be made more like Him.
