September 23 – 29, 2013

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
— Isaiah 40:28 (NIV 1984)

“If you want that splendid power in prayer, you must remain in loving, living, lasting, conscious, practical, abiding union with the Lord Jesus Christ.” — C.H. Spurgeon

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, September 23
When new missionaries begin their first term of service in a new part of the world with an entirely different climate and weather, they often face physical challenges. Pray for good health as they adjust.
  • Tuesday, September 24
One of the hardest things for people to do is to wait. Such is the case for new MAF missionaries who are raising financial support before departing for the mission field. Pray for them as they wait …pray… work….and wait even more.
  • Wednesday, September 25
Pray for MAF pilots who sometimes are called to make an emergency medical flight on very short notice. Pray for the safety of the flights and the pilots’ godly witness in crucial moments.
  • Thursday, September 26
Continue to pray for the safety of the MAF team in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Militia groups operate in the area and it remains volatile.
  • Friday, September 27
Sometimes medical issues demand changes for missionaries. Please pray not only for God’s healing touch, but also for guidance in times of decision.
  • Saturday, September 28
Lift up the team of Blue Sky Aviation in Mongolia as they serve the medical and church organizations ministering there.
  • Sunday, September 29
In the DRC, avgas can cost as much as $21 per gallon. Ask God to provide the needed fuel at a reasonable price.
