God is our protection and our strength.

Monday, October 8
Thank You, Lord God, that You are our protection, strength, and very real help in times of trouble. There seems to be natural disasters, relational trauma, medical emergencies, and spiritual challenges at every turn. We put our trust in You, dear Jesus. We choose to rely on You even when we feel shaken.

Tuesday, October 9
Pray for Yayasan MAF Indonesia team members who have found much devastation in Sulawesi, Indonesia, following the recent earthquake and tsunami there. Pray that the Lord will lead them in their plans to most efficiently provide help to those who need it most.

Wednesday, October 10
The MAF Disaster Response team, through our Indonesian entity, Yayasan MAF Indonesia, provided food for these school children who had been waiting at the Palu hangar for several days. MAF and Ethnos360 Aviation worked together to evacuate these kids to their home village.

Thursday, October 11
Lift up Tyler and Renae Schmidt, a pilot/mechanic family serving in Kalimantan, Indonesia. They are currently doing some furlough travel in the state of North Dakota. Pray that they will make good connections with supporters and feel ready to return to the field.

Friday, October 12
An MAF advocate team will be visiting Haiti soon. Pray for good preparation and a fruitful trip.

Saturday, October 13
Lift up Mike and Sharol Shutts, who have served over 20 years with MAF. Currently Mike is the director of maintenance for the East Democratic Republic of Congo program (EDRC), working in Kampala, Uganda. Pray that both Mike and Sharol will be refreshed this week as they attend the EDRC family conference, especially since Sharol was responsible for planning it.

Sunday, October 14
The position of Manager of Mobilization remains unfilled for MAF Nampa. Pray that the Lord will soon reveal His choice for this key position over MAF recruiting efforts.
