October 22 – 28, 2012

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; The God of Jacob is our fortress.
— Psalm 46:10-11(NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, October 22
Pray for our MK’s (missionary kids) as they rub shoulders daily with other young people, many of whom are of other religions. Pray that their faith in Christ will grow and flourish.
  • Tuesday, October 23
Praise the Lord answered prayer! There seems to be relief in the Ebola outbreak at Isiro in the DRC. Fortunately, it looks like the crisis is over as there have been no new cases since September 27.
  • Wednesday, October 24
Join with the MAF staff around the world as they observe the MAF Worldwide Day of Prayer. Pray not only for MAF, but also for the countries and isolated people we serve, as well as our many friends and supporters.
  • Thursday, October 25
Pray for each missionary family as they seek prayer and financial supporters. Tough economic times and rising costs are serious issues. But God has promised to supply our needs according to His riches.
  • Friday, October 26
Remember to pray for young missionary wives and their families that are expecting the birth of a new baby.
  • Saturday, October 27
We encourage every Christian to be praying for the upcoming U.S. elections. Let’s pray that God’s will be done here on earth just as it is in heaven.
  • Sunday, October 28
Pray that on this Lord’s Day, the glory of God will be felt as Christians in little village churches around the world gather for worship. Pray that gospel preachers everywhere will experience that special anointing, and lives and hearts will be transformed.
