Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 19

Please ask God to smooth the way as MAF considers future options for service in Nepal. Pray also for good coordination between Aid organizations in Nepal so that people can rebuild and prepare for the coming winter.

  • Tuesday, October 20

Ask for the Lord’s timely provision for a hangar, land (for hangar), and multi-engine aircraft for MAF’s Southeast Asia program.

  • Wednesday, October 21

Please pray for John Gorenflo as he travels to all field locations around the world providing IT support, and for his wife, Marilyn Gorenflo, as she as she coaches missionaries raising ministry support. Pray for parenting wisdom with two daughters away for college and one daughter in high school. The Gorenflo family also has two exchange students from Europe living with them.

  • Thursday, October 22

Lift up the MAF Ministry Awareness team for opportunities to wisely serve and support churches in the area of missions. This is a newly formed team within MAF Minstry Awareness division called Church Partnership.

  • Friday, October 23

Please pray for the West Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) program, as it continues to be understaffed, especially in Kinshasa. Pray to the Lord of the harvest for more workers.

  • Saturday, October 24

The MAF Haiti team is grateful that the hangar now has electricity, and they should not have to run their generator all the time. They also thank God that it’s a light year for hurricanes.

  • Sunday, October 25

Praise God for Ron and Margie Grant who are serving in Lesotho, Africa as short-term base maintenance missionaries. Pray for God’s blessing and wisdom on their ministry.
