November 5 – 11, 2012

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.—Psalm 51:10-12 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, November 5
Please pray for the people of Haiti who are still living in tent communities nearly three years after the deadly earthquake. Give thanks that Hurricane Sandy did not cause as much damage there as it did in some other places.
  • Tuesday, November 6
Lift up the U.S.A. as we vote today. Pray that the election will be conducted civilly and without dissension. May God’s will be our primary concern as we vote.
  • Wednesday, November 7
Please pray that the Aceh program’s hangar rental contract will be finalized and signed.
  • Thursday, November 8
Let’s pray today that MAF would receive a positive response in a closed country to its new technology applications for biblical education.
  • Friday, November 9
MAF’s recruiting team appreciates your prayers during this busy time of year. They travel a great deal to career days, mission conferences, and schools, making contacts with potential MAF missionaries.
  • Saturday, November 10
Pray for the two doctors MAF flies regularly into remote communities in Mozambique. Pray for the resources to expand this ministry.
  • Sunday, November 11
Pray as well that experts might be able to identify what has caused the increased malaria rates in the Democratic Republic of Congo this year and why it has become so deadly. Pray for flight safety for our pilots as they deliver critically needed medicines and that our red and white planes will be a tangible reminder of God’s love.
