November 30 – December 6, 2015

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, November 30

Thank the LORD for His love, and for calming all our fears. Rejoice that He sings over us with joy. (See Zephaniah 3:17 above)

  • Tuesday, December 1

The country of Haiti is in the midst of tumultuous elections. There are angry people protesting in the streets and stirring up fear. Please pray for a peaceful and just solution to this situation.

  • Wednesday, December 2

Bad roads and bridges on the way to Matany Hospital, Uganda, make MAF an essential lifeline. Pray for the MAF medevac flights carrying emergency patients and the blood bank. May Christ’s love be evident and transformational.

  • Thursday, December 3

Uphold the MAF Australia office team as they continue to work together to make a difference for MAF International staff, missionary applicants, and pilot candidates.

  • Friday, December 4

Please pray for a resolution to problems that are causing fuel shortages in Nepal. MAF-coordinated flights are proceeding on a day-by-day basis.

  • Saturday, December 5

Pray for Merauke in Papua, Indonesia. It hasn’t rained since May, which is one of the longest dry seasons in a long time. Most people are really struggling to find water even to wash dishes or bathe, and now the hot season has come. Drinking water is still being brought in from a couple hours’ drive interior, but they are also finding it hard to keep up with the demand. Some of the MAF missionary families order water from water trucks but still wait days to get water.

  • Sunday, December 6

Please pray for stamina and peace for MAF missionaries as they serve with perseverance.
