November 25 – December 1, 2019

Let us come before him with thanksgiving
and extol him with music and song.
-Psalm 95:2 (NIV)

Monday, November 25
We have so many reasons to be thankful this week. Let’s tell our Lord God how grateful we are and even turn our praises into songs and shouts!

Tuesday, November 26
Praise God that a new memorandum has been signed by the Niassa provincial governor of Mozambique, allowing MAF to fly patients to Nampula, where MAF is based, rather than Lichinga.

Wednesday, November 27
Lift up Dick and Mary Martin, an airplane maintenance specialist and family serving in Papua, Indonesia. Dick is responsible for maintenance operations and training for the MAF programs in Indonesia. Please pray for Dick and Mary’s youngest son, Joel, as he considers his future after high school. Praise God for their daughter’s wedding a few months ago on the Oregon coast.

Thursday, November 28
On this day of Thanksgiving in America, let’s remember to thank God for His lovingkindness to us. And MAF wants YOU to know how much we appreciate all your prayerful support for this ministry!

Friday, November 29
Praise the Lord that all MAF staff have returned to Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), after evacuating for 21 days due to an Ebola patient at the local hospital. Pray that the residents of Nyankunde will remain safe from future Ebola cases.

Saturday, November 30
Lift up Joey and Kathleen Martin, who have been serving with MAF since 2007. After eight years in the DRC, they relocated to the Kingdom of Lesotho in southern Africa. MAF partners with the Lesotho Flying Doctor Service to bring ongoing medical care to isolated villages in the mountains, including more than 200 medical emergency evacuation flights each year.

Sunday, December 1
Pray for the renewal of work visas for several staff families so that they can continue to serve in Papua, Indonesia.
