Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10b ( ESV)

Sunday, November 14
Lord Jesus, we’re surrounded by so many sad situations that sap our energy and our sense of vitality. Thank You that we can turn our sorrows and concerns over to You and be revived in You!

Monday, November 15
Please pray for the small MAF team in Mozambique that is in the middle of a safety audit, a Caravan aircraft inspection, and their flight scheduler is out of the country for the month. Pray for their encouragement, stamina, and health.

Tuesday, November 16
Pray for the spiritual growth of believers in the mountainous villages of Lesotho. Some believers, especially wives, are facing abuse from their husbands because of their new faith. Pray that God will sustain them and bless their marriages.

Wednesday, November 17
Lift up Tom and Pamela Tharp, who have served with MAF in Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Mali, Indonesia, and at MAF’s headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Currently, Tom is a purchasing agent for the MAF Purchasing and Shipping department that keeps MAF aircraft parts flowing in the right direction. Pray for the Tharps as they navigate the joys and sorrows of life with extended family.

Thursday, November 18
Let’s pray for the health and stamina of MAF staff who process all the year-end gifts—a busy time of the year! MAF is so grateful for the amazing generosity of ministry partners!

Friday, November 19
Lift up Jason and Joselyn Thiemann, a pilot/mechanic family who serve with MAF in Lesotho, Africa. Pray for God’s insight as they make school decisions for their children, which will impact their future location. Pray for God’s provision of teacher visas. Intercede for the Theimann family for their inner wellbeing and strength as they serve the people of Lesotho.

Saturday, November 20
There are widespread fuel shortages and unreliable water supplies in Haiti due to the current security situation and infrastructure challenges. Please pray for God’s solutions for the Haitian people and for the MAF pilot/mechanics who continue to serve there.
