“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” — John 15:7-8 (NIV 1984)

“Pray often, for prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan.” — John Bunyan

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, May 6
Pray for divine wisdom for our leadership team as they evaluate security concerns in many parts of the world. Ask God for His protection and peace as MAF serves in volatile areas around the world.
  • Tuesday, May 7
Lift up Rod and Valerie Hochstetler who serve with MAF in western Democratic Republic of the Congo. Rob is a pilot/mechanic. Learn more about the family at www.maf.org/hochstetler.
  • Wednesday, May 8
Pray for the visa situation in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Some MAF staff are currently having difficulties obtaining new work permits, which are needed in order to get their visas.
  • Thursday, May 9
Pray for the two international schools attended by MAF children in South Central Asia. One doesn’t have teachers for next year, and the other doesn’t have funding yet. Please ask the Lord to provide.
  • Friday, May 10
Thank God for the many Brazilian churches and volunteers participating in medical outreach clinics
  • Saturday, May 11
Please pray for the process of acquiring the first turbine aircraft for the fleet in Ecuador.
  • Sunday, May 12
Remember to pray for missionary families that are home on furlough and raising support so they can return to service overseas. Also pray for the new pre-field missionaries who are building their first support team.
