Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 15

Ask the Lord to teach us how to do His will. Praise God for His good Spirit who leads us into the land of uprightness.

  • Tuesday, May 16

Please pray that God will send MAF Suriname qualified managers, pilots, and mechanics, so Kingdom work can continue in this country.

  • Wednesday, May 17

Lift up Rolland and Jessica Trempert who are staff missionaries at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. They served in Colombia and Venezuela for eleven years as a pilot/mechanic family and in program management, and more recently in Lesotho. Currently Rolland is the director of the Safety/Quality division, which cares for the improvement and safety of the service MAF provides to so many around the world. Jessica serves as the MAF travel coordinator, making sure that every traveling missionary has the tickets, ground transportation, and visas necessary to get to and from the field.

  • Thursday, May 18

Pray for revival in Congo as the MAF team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) has opportunities to fly national church workers into very remote areas. May they use every opportunity to further God’s kingdom with MAF airplanes.

  • Friday, May 19

Give thanks and pray for Bill Harding as he stands in as interim CEO for MAF International over the next few months. Pray also for Bill’s work as International Development Director, working to establish new resourcing groups and engagement with churches in India, Singapore and the Philippines.

  • Saturday, May 20

Lift up Warren and Julie Veal who are missionaries serving at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Warren manages the MAF Quality Management System, which measures MAF aviation compliance with the goal of identifying how MAF can improve its aviation ministry. Julie keeps the home running well and volunteers in various children’s ministries like Good News Clubs and childcare for ladies’ Bible studies.

  • Sunday, May 21

Please pray about the ongoing violence in the Kasai region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, along with ongoing political unrest. Intercede for the families of the West DRC team, that they may thrive in this difficult environment, for God’s glory.
