Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 1

Pray that MAF families around the world will continue to have opportunities to tell others the Good News about Jesus, who came to save us from our sin and provide abundant life through faith in Him.

  • Tuesday, May 2

Please pray for good health & stamina for Maurice in Liberia who is working on the Rivercess County airstrip. Rains are coming. So please pray that no heavy storms would damage to the unfinished airstrip.

  • Wednesday, May 3

Lift up Tom and Pam Tharp who have served with MAF in Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Currently, Tom works at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, in the avionics department, outfitting aircraft to be sent to overseas programs. Tom was in Uganda for much of April, helping with an avionics installation.

  • Thursday, May 4

The aircraft from five different MAF programs (Chad, East DRC, West DRC, Uganda, and South Sudan) are being worked on in the MAF Uganda hangar. Pray for a timely and successful completion of these inspections.

  • Friday, May 5

Thank the Lord that MAF pilots based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, DRC, teamed up with a local doctor to deliver vaccines to 13 village clinics, delivering 5.5 tons of vaccines to fight polio, yellow fever, pneumococcus, and a few other diseases.

  • Saturday, May 6

Praise the Lord for the vitally linked partnership in PNG between MAF, CRMF, and Rumiginae Hospital. Pray that people seeking help will be physically and spiritually healed.

  • Sunday, May 7

Pray for airstrip permits in Mexico and access to a hangar for aircraft maintenance for this MAF affiliate team.
