God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…
-Psalm 46:1-2a (NIV)

Monday, March 23
Lord God, we find You to be our safe and powerful place of refuge! In times of trouble, You are the One we seek for real help. We choose not to live in a state of worry, but we put our complete trust in You.

Tuesday, March 24
Pray for wisdom and safety for MAF flight operations as MAF seeks a good balance between serving the needs of isolated people and caring for the health of MAF personnel.

Wednesday, March 25
As many country borders close due to the Coronavirus Covid-19, pray for stranded MAF staff who are trying to return to the USA or are unable to go back to their overseas assignment.

Thursday, March 26
Lift up Tim and Liz Schandorff, who serve as missionaries with MAF. Tim, a financial analyst, compiles, analyzes, and provides vital information about MAF’s finances for field programs and leaders to ensure wise and godly stewardship of the organization’s funds. Liz is a stay-at-home mom to their two sons.

Friday, March 27
Pray for the children of MAF families. They are a wonderful bunch of kids who are growing up in challenging times and places, often with limited resources. Pray for their health, their faith, and their witness. May they experience for themselves the faithfulness of God.

Saturday, March 28
Lift up Fred and Desi Schmidt who have been missionaries with MAF since 1984. Currently Fred works in the Purchasing/Shipping Department for MAF worldwide operations. The Schmidts began their career as a pilot/mechanic family in Africa, flying in both Zimbabwe and neighboring Botswana. Pray for them as they prepare for a new assignment in Indonesia.

Sunday, March 29
Pray for any MAF staff members who might be feeling lonely or sick during this unprecedented time. Pray that they will be strengthened in God’s Word and that they will experience well-being that can only be found in Christ.
