Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, June 13

Pray that the Lord will help each of us guard against all forms of greed and possessions-focused lives.

  • Tuesday, June 14

Lift up Tim and Luce Johnson, serving with MAF Brazil (Asas de Socorro) as a pilot/mechanic family for over 24 years. Currently, Tim has stepped out of his flying role and continues in maintenance support. Pray that their lives, and the planes they keep operational, will be greatly used for the Kingdom of God.

  • Wednesday, June 15

Pray for the Americas Tech team, which serves Latin America, Haiti, and the US. They are experiencing a lot of growth and change. Pray for unity in the team as they strive to move towards greater transparency, accountability, and inclusion.

  • Thursday, June 16

Praise God for the short-term missionary team that MAF pilot Dave Forney was able to fly in South Sudan as part of the Every Village strategy to share the Living Water of Jesus through drinking water projects, Christian radio, encouraging long-term missionaries, and national pastor training.

  • Friday, June 17

MAF needs people with computer skills—I.T. support specialists, system administrators, and application developers. Pray for willing workers to answer God’s call.

  • Saturday, June 18

The accreditation process for MAF Liberia is still ongoing. Please pray that there would be no delays or hold ups. We praise God that Ministry of Transport has given no objection letter for the renewal, which is an important step in the process.

  • Sunday, June 19

Praise God that the MAF team in Wamena, Papua, recently enjoyed some good rain. It was refreshing and has filled their water tanks!
