July 8 – 14, 2013

“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The Lord watches aver all who love him.”— Psalm 145:18-20a (NIV 1984)

“Prayer is an ordinance of God that must continue with a soul so long as it is on this side of glory.”— John Bunyan

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, July 8
Pray for the MAF team in Haiti as they seek new facilities from which to operate. Construction at the Port-au-Prince airport means that MAF must relocate.
  • Tuesday, July 9
Pray today for the class of new missionary candidates that has gathered at MAF headquarters this week. Ask God to strengthen and guide them as they begin the long journey that leads to serving God through MAF.
  • Wednesday, July 10
Ask God today to bless new missionaries arriving on the field as well as those already at work overseas.
  • Thursday, July 11
Remember to pray for many faithful supporters of our missionary staff. Both their prayers and financial gifts are absolutely invaluable. Pray that God will bless them, each one.
  • Friday, July 12
Pray for Danny and Leslie Hulls, who minister in Lesotho with their three children. Danny is a pilot/mechanic. Read more about the family at www.maf.org/hulls.
  • Saturday, July 13
Winter has arrived in Lesotho. After such a dry summer and a poor harvest, pray that the Basotho people will have enough to eat and be able to stay warm.
  • Sunday, July 14
Pray for the isolated community of Esrotnamba in Papua, Indonesia. Missionaries reached this village about a year ago and the Word is taking root!
