May we be prayerful and watchful as we expect God to do something amazing among the nations. Indeed, He already has! Let’s live God-expectant lives, flourishing in dependence upon Him.

Give thanks that the aircraft part needed for one of our airplanes in Merauke, Papua, arrived in record time, enabling the flight of another missions team who needed to continue with their housing project.

Lift up Dave and Jean Wunsch, who joined MAF in 1976. They served five terms in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea as a pilot/mechanic family. Dave served as a program manager in Papua and Regional Director for MAF’s Asia programs. This month Dave begins his role as interim Vice President of Operations. For many years, Jean was MAF’s senior Ministry Partnership coach, helping new missionaries build their support teams. At the end of 2016, Jean decided to enter retirement. Please pray for them during these transitions.

Pray for God’s provision for teacher visa slots for the Tarakan, Kalimantan program. Praise the Lord for the family who has committed to teach the MAF children on Tarakan Island this coming year and for the two possible families who are “in process.”
