Today MAF is dedicating its newest KODIAK aircraft, which will serve in Papua, Indonesia. Join us in praising God for his provision and pray that many will learn about Jesus through the work of this airplane and its crew. - Tuesday, January 7
In 2013, Alas de Socorro del Ecuador, an MAF affiliate program, was able to pay monthly visits to the village of Suraka and teach a discipleship class there. Give thanks for this wonderful opportunity to nurture believers. - Wednesday, January 8
Praise God for the baptism of seven new believers in the village of Suraka, Ecuador. - Thursday, January 9
MAF staff in Lesotho recently performed three medical evacuation flights in one day, transporting three women in labor and a woman with pneumonia. Please give thanks that MAF was able to help, and pray that the women will be blessed with health in the coming year. - Friday, January 10
Pray for the Église du Christ au Congo, or ECC. ECC is a union of 62 protestant denominations seeking to share the love of Jesus in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). - Saturday, January 11
MAF recently loaned film projection equipment so a team from the ECC could show the “JESUS” film in the Vanga region of the DRC. Give thanks for the success of this three-week project and pray for those who made decisions for Christ as a result. - Sunday, January 12
Pray for the prospective MAF missionaries who will begin candidacy classes tomorrow. Pray that they will be sensitive to the Lord’s leading as they consider whether MAF is the right place for them to serve.
