January 21 – 27, 2013

“Open up before God, keep nothing back; he’ll do whatever needs to be done: He’ll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high noon. Quiet down before God, be prayerful before him. Don’t bother with those who climb the ladder, who elbow their way to the top.”—Psalm 37:6-7 (The Message)

  • Friday, January 25
Pray for new MAF missionaries who are currently in language school. Pray that God will enable them to quickly and easily grasp the language and culture of the country they have been called to serve.

In some parts of the world, Christian churches and believers face increasing persecution. Please ask the Lord to strengthen these believers and multiply the fruit of their witness.
  • Sunday, January 27
Please pray for the MAF team assigned to Bunia in eastern DRC. Following violence in the area last November, four families are back in Bunia and four are working from Kampala, Uganda. Please pray for peace in this difficult part of the world.
