Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, January 9
    Praise God that the MAF Mexico program completed almost twice as many medical evacuations in 2011 as in previous years.
  • Tuesday, January 10
    Please lift up the candidacy class taking place through January 20 at MAF HQ in Nampa. Remember the seven missionary candidate families and three maintenance interns who are participating.
  • Wednesday, January 11
    Remember the Chuck and Susan Weatherstone family, serving in Guatemala. Chuck is a pilot/mechanic.
  • Thursday, January 12
    The MAF team in Kenya is conducting twice-weekly shuttle flights to the Dadaab refugee camp, as well as numerous charter flights. Please pray for this team involved in famine relief efforts.
  • Friday, January 13
    Please lift up Tim and Tonya Vennell and their five children. The family is serving with MAF in Nairobi, Kenya, where Tim is operations director of the program
  • Saturday, January 14
    Please pray for the security situation in and around the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people have fled from famine and violence.
  • Sunday, January 15
    Remember the MAF Aceh team as they negotiate a new hangar contract. Pray for favorable outcomes.
