Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, February 6

May we be alert to the goodness of God and take refuge in Him.

  • Tuesday, February 7

Hospital chaplains in Nyankunde, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC),have requested that MAF help with a monthly showing of the Life of Jesus film on the hospital grounds. Many patients and their families asked for follow-up prayer in the days following the film’s showing just after Christmas. Praise God! Our MAF team in eastern DRC is excited for these opportunities….may many come to know Jesus through this tool!

  • Wednesday, February 8

Praise God for the global digital asset management system/library, Bynder, which is now in use throughout MAF. Pray for a smooth transition and for staff as they learn the new system.

  • Thursday, February 9

Lift up Isaac and Amber Rogers, along with their two sons, as they serve with MAF in Kalimantan, Indonesia, as a pilot/mechanic family. Please pray for them as they interact with governors, businessmen, widows, school kids, the rich, the poor, the healthy, and the sick, that God would always use their actions and words to bring people to Him!

  • Friday, February 10

Please pray that God by His grace will put borders around Satan’s sphere of influence and that destruction and death will be limited among waring tribes in Papua New Guinea (PNG). MAF plays a non-partisan role in helping the sick and injured.

  • Saturday, February 11

Lift up Tim and Catherine Rogers, who are an MAF pilot/mechanic family in Haiti. Currently they are on furlough and plan to have their fourth child in the USA to avoid the threat of the Zika virus.

  • Sunday, February 12

Pray for safety for MAF pilots in Indonesia, PNG, and Arnhem Land as they fly into remote communities during the onset of the wet season.
