Prayer Connection

May your December be full of celebrating the hope we have in Christ!

~Linda Whiting

Not to us, Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
Psalm 115:1 (NIV)

Sunday, December 5
It’s too easy to bring glory and honor to ourselves. Please forgive us, Jehovah God! May Your name be praised because of Your constant love, unfailing kindness, and amazing beauty.

Monday, December 6
Pray for the churches, hospitals, and communities that MAF serves in the most remote corners of the globe. Pray that the Lord would strengthen each entity for His kingdom purposes.

Tuesday, December 7
Inventory isn’t a very glamorous part of ministry, but it is necessary. Pray for accurate counting of all MAF aircraft parts and supplies. Pray also that MAF stewards its resources wisely.

Wednesday, December 8
Lift up Dan Wanvig, a pilot/mechanic serving with MAF in Haiti. Pray that God will use the disasters in Haiti to bring people to Himself. Pray for energy for each MAF team member in Haiti as they respond to a surge in flight requests.

Thursday, December 9
Pray for God’s leading for the MAF team members in Papua New Guinea (PNG) as they plan multiple conferences and MAF PNG’s 70th anniversary celebration.

Friday, December 10
Lift up Stephen and Haley Weiland, a maintenance specialist family who is preparing to serve with MAF in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Praise God for the opportunities the Weilands recently had to share about MAF’s ministry. Pray that God will continue to provide financial and prayer partners for this family so they can depart for Africa soon.

Saturday, December 11
Pray that MAF staff members traveling (or hoping to travel soon) would not be badly impacted by travel restrictions resulting from the new COVID-19 variant.
