December 24 – 30, 2012

“But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord…Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.'”—Luke 2:10-14 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, December 24
Pray today for those MAF families who are far removed from family and friends during Christmas. Especially remember to pray for MKs at college and elsewhere who cannot be with their parents this week.
  • Tuesday, December 25
Won’t you pray for precious people who are hearing the story of Christmas for the very first time? Ask the Lord to open their hearts, that they will accept Christ’s gift of salvation.
  • Wednesday, December 26
Most MAF overseas staff are enjoying a few days of rest. Pray that they will experience some rejuvenation as they anticipate the challenges of 2013.
  • Thursday, December 27
Remember to pray today for Urbana 12, Intervarsity’s Student Missions Conference. Thousands of Christian young people will gather in St. Louis starting today to consider how God might call them into service.
  • Friday, December 28
Pray for MAF’s Training and Ministry Partnership team as they prepare for a new class of potential MAF missionaries who will come to headquarters early in the new year.
  • Saturday, December 29
Pray for MAF missionaries needing to raise additional prayer and financial support in order to continue their missionary service./span>
  • Sunday, December 30
Praise God for PK-MCD, a float plane at MAF’s base in PalangkaRaya, Kalimantan (Indonesia). MCD left the Cessna factory in Wichita, Kansas 50 YEARS AGO, in 1962. We are grateful for how the Lord has used this plane to further His kingdom!
