Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, December 21

Please continue to pray for the people of Nepal who were devastated by the earthquake earlier this year. The vast majority of them are still living in tents, without power and running water. Lift up the MAF team and partners in Nepal who are providing practical aid to those in need.

  • Tuesday, December 22

MAF is facing some significant pressures in several regions of the world. Please pray that God will show MAF leadership the way forward. Ask the LORD to “part the Red Sea” where needed, turning things around for His glory.

  • Wednesday, December 23

Pray for Alas de Socorro del Ecuador that permission will be granted soon to start flying their KODIAK aircraft, and that things will go smoothly as they seek to obtain an Air Operator’s Certificate. Praise God for His faithfulness to this MAF affiliate in Ecuador.

  • Thursday, December 24

Join John Boyd, MAF President and CEO, in the prayer that MAF staff will continue to seek God’s presence as they minister around the world.

  • Friday, December 25

Praise God for sending Jesus to be our Redeemer. Ask Him to open opportunities to truly celebrate this truth with family and friends today, and throughout the year.

  • Saturday, December 26

Please pray for the MAF team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to have a great sense of unity. They praise God for the two new pilot families who recently joined their team.

  • Sunday, December 27

Ask the LORD for traveling mercies over all those traveling during the holiday season. Pray for MAF overseas staff who are especially missing family this week.
