Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, December 14

Scripture says that prudent people give thought to their ways. May we be like that in all seasons of life.

  • Tuesday, December 15

Visibility is very poor in Liberia at the moment because the harmattan season (a dry dusty wind that blows along the northwest coast of Africa) has started. Pray that visibility will be sufficient in the places MAF pilots fly this week.

  • Wednesday, December 16

Give thanks to God for the MAF maintenance specialists who just finished their major inspection of KODIAK aircraft PK-MEA in Wamena, Papua, Indonesia. Everyone is grateful that it is flying again.

  • Thursday, December 17

Last January Maud Kells, a long-time missionary in the DRC, was shot. MAF made arrangements for her immediate care and evacuated her from Mulita to Nyankunde. Maud eventually went to the UK for treatment. Praise God that last week MAF was able to fly Maud back to Mulita.

  • Friday, December 18

Please pray for Doug Harrison as he seeks clarity from God on how to build MAF Tech Resources department into a globally integrated team, with national staff filling a more central role in the way they provide services.

  • Saturday, December 19

Praise the Lord along with the families in Rumginae, PNG, for the installation of the solar power system that gives them a much better option for power!

  • Sunday, December 20

Jeremiah and Mindy Hartin and their children are an MAF pilot/mechanic family serving in Papua, Indonesia. Their family verse is Romans 12:9-13. Pray that they will continue to be devoted to one another in love as they show Christ’s love to the people of Papua.
