Priorities for Prayer

• Monday, August 8

  Pray that MAF families will experience victory as they learn to take every thought captive to obey Christ.

• Tuesday, August 9

  Pray for MAF programs that are short staffed this summer due to the many families that are currently on furlough. Ask the Lord to give the pilots, mechanics, and other staff extra grace and wisdom as they juggle an increased work load.

• Wednesday, August 10

  Please pray for the Nampa Aviation Training department as they prepare for and conduct pilot restandardization training in the weeks ahead.

• Thursday, August 11

  Please pray for the MAF-US Human Resources team as they navigate new changes in employment law.

• Friday, August 12

  Pray that those who hear the Gospel will be receptive and the seeds of God’s Truth will grow abundantly in their lives.

• Saturday, August 13

  Please pray as MAF Youth is started in New Zealand. This initiative will be based around Facebook. Please pray that MAF NZ can identify the right young leaders (18-30 years old) to set up a FB page and then mentor youth to discover the place God has for them in aviation and missions.

• Sunday, August 14

  Earlier in the week MAF in Uganda carried out two flights into Adjumani in northern Uganda. The week before over 12,000 refugees arrived at the Elegu Collection Centre. The vast majority are women and children escaping fighting. Pray that these precious people would know the truth of Psalm 46:1, that “God is [their] refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”
