“God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Selah.”
— Psalm 46:1-3 (NIV 1984)

Please pray that MAF will receive the authorization to fly the new Caravan aircraft that recently arrived in Haiti but is sitting on the ground. Pray that the aviation authorities will be prompt in processing paperwork, recognizing value of the plane as it serves the people of Haiti. - Tuesday, August 28
Please pray about the fuel situation in Papua New Guinea as avgas supplies are running low. More fuel is en route from Malaysia. Pray that it will not be held up and will arrive in good time. - Wednesday, August 29
Pray for the teachers in mission schools as they nurture the hearts and minds of missionary kids. Ask the Lord to grant sensitivity to the needs of their students, but also attentiveness to the spirit of God as He guides them each day. - Thursday, August 30
Pray for our MAF staff in Papua, Indonesia, as they try to reach out to a recently discovered tribe. The Weserau people live in a very inhospitable and rough area, which is part of the reason they remained unreached. MAF is trying to find some appropriate place where a landing strip can be built. In the meantime, an MAF floatplane is landing on a nearby lake. - Friday, August 31
Remember to pray for the many volunteers who selflessly give of their time and talents in support of MAF and God’s kingdom. - Saturday, September 1
Ask the Lord to raise up donors with a heart for Africa provide the funds to purchase a Cessna 182 diesel aircraft for the West DRC program. $200,000 is needed. - Sunday, September 2
Pray for MAF’s Ride2Fly event to be held on September 8 in Garden Valley, Idaho. Pray that a passion to serve God (perhaps through MAF!) will be planted deep in the heart of the motorcyclists.
