Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, August 20
    MAF’s program in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) continues to make many flights to combat an aggressive malaria epidemic. Please pray for the medical workers, for the sick, and for those in mourning.
  • Tuesday, August 21
    MAF is seeking more staff who feel God’s call to serve overseas in difficult areas. Please pray for this need.
  • Wednesday, August 22
    Praise God for the short term staff who have helped to ease the staffing shortfall in some programs. We are thankful for their willingness to serve.
  • Thursday, August 23
    Join us in thanking God for the safe arrive in Haiti of MAF’s new Cessna Caravan. This plane will be based in Port-au-Prince and be especially useful in transporting ministry teams that do relief and mission work in Haiti.
  • Friday, August 24
    Please pray that nonbelievers in areas where MAF works will hear God’s Word and respond with open hearts.
  • Saturday, August 25
    Lift up Scott and Monti Channon and their children. The Channons served for six years with MAF in Venezuela before relocating to MAF headquarters. Scott is an MAF Instructor pilot. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/channon.
  • Sunday, August 26
    MAF’s West DRC program recently completed a series of flights for the American Leprosy Mission to visit their DRC projects supporting treatment of leprosy, Buruli ulcer, and TB. Please pray for this organization and its work around the world.
