“There are many of us that are willing to do great things for the Lord, but few of us are willing to do little things.”— Dwight L. Moody

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, August 19
Pray for missionaries who are returning to the field after their furloughs and deputations. Pray that they will return refreshed, renewed, and ready to serve.
  • Tuesday, August 20
Give thanks! After airport construction forced the MAF Haiti program to seek a new site from which to operate, they have finally found a new location at the Port-au-Prince airport. They are now in the process of moving and rebuilding the hangar. Pray that the work will be completed quickly and safely.
  • Wednesday, August 21
Ask the Lord to help missionaries as they seek to overcome barriers to the Gospel. Pray for indigenous pastors as they proclaim the Good News of Christ Jesus.
  • Thursday, August 22
Please lift up Gene and Lynn Jordan, who have served with MAF for some 36 years in Latin America and the U.S. Gene is MAF’s vice president of Human Resources and Lynn is a school teacher. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/jordan.
  • Friday, August 23
Pray for overseas missionary families who are expecting new babies. Pray also for the grandmas and grandpas back home!
  • Saturday, August 24
Today at MAF headquarters in Idaho, MAF-Learning Technologies is presenting a workshop on sharing the Gospel using storytelling. Pray that the participants will be able to take what they are learning and apply it to their own ministries.
  • Sunday, August 25
Thank God for all the new friends of MAF, many of whom were introduced to the ministry at summer air shows.
