  • Monday, August 17
    Praise God that MAF staff in Arnhem Land are running weekly bible studies amongst prison inmates.
  • Tuesday, August 18
    Pray for Haiti as election season has arrived, which often leads to violence. Pray for the safety of MAF staff and the people of Haiti during this time.
  • Wednesday, August 19
    Please pray for the ministry of Alas de Socorro, the MAF affiliate organization in Ecuador. David Montero leads the team of 18 Ecuadorian staff and two families from the U.S.
  • Thursday, August 20
    Pray for the villages of Imitiña and Suraka in Ecuador, where Alas de Socorro staff make monthly visits of ministry and discipleship.
  • Friday, August 21
    Lift up Paul and Barb Dukes, who spent 18 years ministering in Papua, Indonesia, and now serve at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Paul is an aircraft maintenance specialist and Barb is MAF’s furlough coordinator. Learn more about the Dukes at www.maf.org/dukes.
  • Saturday, August 22
    Thanks for praying for MAF’s ministry in western Democratic Republic of the Congo. Nick Frey leads a team of nine international families and 31 local staff operating six airplanes from bases in Kinshasa and Lubumbashi.
  • Sunday, August 23
    Tim and Kay Dyk have been with MAF since 1982 and served in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Now they are part of the team at MAF headquarters, where Tim supervises the avionics shop and Kay is a receptionist. Read more about their ministry at www.maf.org/dyk.
