Monday, August 12
Lord Jesus, we place our trust in You and believe Your Word. Thank You for blessing us so richly with the glory of God as we put our faith in You.

Tuesday, August 13
Pray for the spiritual vitality of MAF staff both individually and together as teammates, as they express Christ’s love to each other and to the communities where they live around the globe.

Wednesday, August 14
Pray for the implementation of a new flight coding system in Papua, Indonesia, targeted at increasing MAF’s effectiveness in prioritizing greater Kingdom impact flights.

Thursday, August 15
Lift up Jeremiah and Mindy Hartin, a pilot/mechanic family serving with MAF in Papua, Indonesia. Pray for the thousands of displaced people in Hartins’ community due to flooding and landslides earlier this year. Pray for times of refreshment and rest after a season of community trauma.

Friday, August 16
Pray for the MAF team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo as they have been flying an unusually large number of medevacs in recent weeks. Please pray for the Congolese patients who have suffered machete wounds, a broken spine, bullet wounds, broken leg and head injury while mining, vehicle accidents.

Saturday, August 17
Lift up Doug and Janie Heidebrink, a pilot/mechanic family who served in Kalimantan, Indonesia, from 1987 to 2000. Currently, Doug serves as an aircraft maintenance instructor, evaluating potential MAF candidates, and preparing mechanics to serve overseas. Janie serves at their church as the administrative assistant and coordinates children’s church and AWANA programs.

Sunday, August 18
Pray that the MAF team in Timor-Leste will be able to effectively communicate the importance of airstrip maintenance to the communities they fly to.
