Priorities for Prayer

• Monday, August 11
  Remember the patients and medical workers affected by Ebola in Liberia. Pray for healing and a cure for this horrible illness.
• Tuesday, August 12
  In Brazil, MAF affiliate organization Asas de Socorro recently supported a church gathering that was well attended by church leaders from around the Amazon. Praise God for the fruit of many years of labor.
• Wednesday, August 13
  MAF’s West DRC program reports 270 children recently attended a Swahili-language Sunday school class! Give thanks for these children and pray for more teachers who speak Swahili!
• Thursday, August 14
  Lift up Lary and Sheryl Strietzel, serving with MAF in Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Lary is a pilot/mechanic. Read more about their ministry at www.maf.org/strietzel
• Friday, August 15
  There are many open positions within MAF worldwide. Ask the Lord to bring the right people to meet these needs.
• Saturday, August 16
  Pray for AGAPE, an MAF affiliate organization in Guatemala. AGAPE is operated by seven staff with a Cessna 206 airplane. They are involved in a number of ministry areas, including ministerial training, (pastoral, Sunday school teacher and youth leader training), health work, and economic development.
• Sunday, August 17
  Pray for the continuation and effectiveness of AGAPE’s Bible training programs in the mountains of Guatemala.
