You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.
-Acts 2: 28 (NIV)

Monday, May 10
Divine Encourager, direct us in Your paths of abundant life. You infuse us with deep gladness and lasting joy as we linger in Your presence.

Tuesday, May 11
Please pray for the MAF team who has had to evacuate from their homes in Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), due to militia activity. Our pilot families are living in temporary housing elsewhere. Pray that the situation in Nyankunde will be touched by Christ’s shalom.

Wednesday, May 12
Pray for restful and restorative furloughs for MAF staff who are going to their passport countries this summer.

Thursday, May 13
Lift up Dick and Mary Martin, MAF missionaries in Papua, Indonesia. Dick is the director of maintenance for the Indonesia region, which includes managing the transition to a revised aviation structure under the Indonesian civil air authority. Mary serves as MAF’s representative to the Hillcrest School board in Sentani and is the fragrance of Christ in her community.

Friday, May 14
Pray for MAF Papua New Guinea as some of their teammates were recently attacked by two men with bush knives while on a walk. Pray that God will use this incident to bring love, hope, and healing in Christ’s name to the neighborhood where these two men reside.

Saturday, May 15
Lift up Joey and Kathleen Martin and their family. They served eight years with MAF in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and three years in the Kingdom of Lesotho. Currently, they live in Nampa, Idaho, where Joey works as the Quality manager at MAF headquarters. Kathleen stays busy managing their home and homeschooling.

Sunday, May 16
Pray for the aircraft maintenance team in Nampa, Idaho, that is preparing a Caravan airplane for MAF DRC. They are installing a new engine, a pod, and doing avionics work. (Pictured is another Caravan being dedicated for Papua earlier.)
