Monday, March 8
Thank You, dear God, for always guiding us and satisfying us with strength and refreshment. We are like a a well-watered oasis, overflowing with Your living water for others to drink. Help us to drink in the truth of Your words every day.

Tuesday, March 9
Praise God for approximately 20 language translation projects that MAF gives aviation support to in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). These include Bible translation, literacy, and Scripture engagement projects. Pray for the Komo, Budu-Koya, Budu-Nita and Omi language projects as they prepare to send their translated New Testaments to be printed. Pray for the Holy Spirit to prepare hearts to receive God’s Word in their heart languages.

Wednesday, March 10
Praise the Lord that in Nepal the 100th patient was just flown with the medevac project supported by MAF.

Thursday, March 11
Lift up Chad and Andi Irwin, who served with MAF for 15 years in Shell, Ecuador where Chad was the chief pilot and Andi worked as the librarian as well as the school board president at the Nate Saint Memorial School where their children attended. Currently, Chad evaluates and trains new pilots coming into the organization. Pray for him as he takes on the manager role of flight training this summer. Andi trains new MAF missionaries and supports longtime members in raising and maintaining their ministry support team.

Friday, March 12
A refurbished Cessna 208 Grand Caravan aircraft was ferried from Nampa to Kinshasa, DRC, in November. It is delayed there awaiting the necessary paperwork. Pray for favor for MAF staff as they work with DRC officials and that the plane will soon be released for service in Nyankunde where it is really needed.

Saturday, March 13
Lift up Dave and Donna Jacobsson, a pilot/mechanic family serving in eastern DRC. Dave also serves as the EDRC program director. Pray for God’s peace, wisdom, and protection to fly safely over dangerous area where militias are active. Prayer requests for Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday are also from the Jacobssons.

Sunday, March 14
Over 100 active armed groups are causing large displacements of populations in the eastern region of DRC-over five million internally displaced people (IDP), including three million children. In the Nyankunde area, where MAF families are based, there are new ethnic-related rebel militias and insecurity has increased over the past year. Pray for peacemaking strategies and for protection over MAF staff and local communities.
