Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, December 7

Thank the LORD that He promises to guide, restore, strengthen and cause us to flourish in Him. See Isaiah 58:10-11. Praise the LORD!

  • Tuesday, December 8

Please pray for Matt and Alyssa Harris and their sons, Josiah, and Caleb. Matt and Alyssa live and serve in Wamena, which is in the central highlands of Papua, Indonesia. Matt oversees the maintenance for five MAF aircraft and the flight scheduling from this isolated town.

  • Wednesday, December 9

Pray for a resolution to the ongoing border difficulties that are causing a disruption in auto fuel and cooking gas supplies to Nepal. Pray for continued calm among the population as they struggle with the daily reality of difficulty cooking without gas and limited options for transport due to auto fuel not being available.

  • Thursday, December 10

Uphold the critically ill villagers that MAF pilots will fly today. Praise the LORD for so many opportunities to share the love of Christ through medical flights.

  • Friday, December 11

Please pray for peace in Haiti during the ongoing election process. In addition, please lift up Dave and Erin Simon as they grow their support team in preparation for service in Haiti.

  • Saturday, December 12

Praise God for the excellent culture of safety MAF is cultivating in all our programs around the globe. Pray for continued diligence in good work habits, attention to detail, and divine protection from dangers seen and unseen.

  • Sunday, December 13

Doug and Ruth Harrison are directors of the Technical Resources Division and Member Care Department at MAF US headquarters. Please pray for God’s guidance as they lead their respective teams with wisdom, courage, and humility.
