Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 14
Please pray for the many isolated believers around the world who have downloaded MAF’s new Estante app. Ask the Lord to bless their ministry as they use this new digital library tool.
  • Tuesday, October 15
Thank God today for new Bibles in the Hupla language that were recently received in Papua, Indonesia. What a joy to receive these Bibles and fly them to the village.
  • Wednesday, October 16
Lift Garth and Joy Pederson to the Lord in prayer. Garth is MAF program manager in western Democratic Republic of Congo. He leads a team of 10 international and 31 Congolese staff operating two Cessna Caravans and three piston aircraft from two bases. Read more at www.maf.org/pederson.
  • Thursday, October 17
Please lift up the MAF Alumni—former missionaries who are now retired. Ask the Lord to bless their current ministry endeavors and grant physical and spiritual health.
  • Friday, October 18
Please pray for MAF pilots in Kalimantan, Indonesia, who are awaiting approval of work permits and visas. Without these they are unable to fly. Pray that the permits will be granted soon.
  • Saturday, October 19
Ask God to bless the ministry of Doug and Ruth Harrison as they lead the Member Care team at MAF. Ask the Lord to direct their efforts to minister hope and encouragement to MAF missionaries all around the world. Learn more about the Harrisons at www.maf.org/harrison.
  • Sunday, October 20
Please lift up Aaron and Sarah Kramer and their two daughters. This MAF family is currently attending language school in Salatiga, Indonesia. Pray that they will have minds like sponges as they seek to learn a new language.
