Monday, October 5
LORD, we are often guilty of trying to figure things out on our own. That’s exactly what it looks like to be wise in our own eyes. Help us to seek Your wisdom first and avoid everything that leads us in the wrong direction.

Tuesday, October 6
When the Lesotho Flying Pastors arrived in a mountain village, they were surprised to be greeted by two ladies who had been waiting many days for them to arrive. They wanted the pastors to lead them in prayer to accept Jesus Christ!

Wednesday, October 7
Pray for MAF teams around the world as we pause today from our normal work routines and seek God’s face. Pray that nothing will hinder us from hearing God’s voice, delighting in His presence, and enjoying each other’s company.

Thursday, October 8
Lift up Jonathan and Nicole de Jongh, a pilot/mechanic family serving with MAF in the western Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Pray for wisdom, strength, and protection as Jonathan and Nicole raise their four energetic sons in Kinshasa, DRC.

Friday, October 9
Pray for MAF’s “75 Years of Serving Together” virtual event that is scheduled to occur today and tomorrow. Pray against technical glitches, distractions, and any barriers to strengthening MAF’s relationships within the larger MAF family, which includes MAF donors!

Saturday, October 10
Lift up Peter and Miriam De Winkle, a pilot/mechanic family in Suriname. Pray for Peter to continue to have safe flights as he flies to jungle villages to transport COVID-19 patients and emergency medical teams. Pray for “D”, a woman deeply involved in voodoo, that her heart would be softened to the gospel and Jesus Christ.

Sunday, October 11
Pray for aircraft maintenance and ongoing engineering assistance in Mareeba, Australia. Currently, Timor-Leste aircraft are being ferried to Mareeba, which is a 25-hour round trip for every 100-hour inspection.
