Lift up Tyler and Renae Schmidt, a pilot/mechanic family serving in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Currently, Tyler is the program director for Kalimantan. Renae is teaching music to the students in the local MK school as well as raising their family. Pray for Indonesia, as COVID-19 delta variant numbers continue to spike and travel regulations continue to fluctuate.

Praise God for a good meeting with the Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) in Guinea in West Africa. A short video helped CAA understand how MAF intends to serve there and opened doors. Pray for good timing for a visit to the government ministry that needs to sign the registration documents for MAF in Guinea.

Friday, October 8
Lift up Brian and Connie Shepson, a pilot/mechanic family who served three terms in Shell, Ecuador, before returning to serve at MAF headquarters. Currently, Brian is the chief pilot and one of five flight instructors in the training department in Nampa, Idaho. Brian considers it a privilege to help equip new MAF technicians all over the globe. Most recently, Brian flew with the MAF Haiti team, in coordination with Samaritan’s Purse, following the recent earthquake.
