-Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

At the beginning of the day, or the project, or the journey-or anything, really-we should seek Your face, Yahweh, and trust You. When we commit our works to You completely, You will cause our thoughts to become agreeable with Your will. Amazing!

Praise God that the MAF team in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was finally able to hold a missions conference in Bunia. The purpose was to help raise awareness among the local churches of the need for Congolese missionaries to reach the remaining unreached people in the DRC.

Wednesday, October 21
The MAF Member Care team is made up of nine people who love working together and learning from one another. There’s good momentum and anticipation about the future and their interaction with staff around the world. Praise God for the role they play in the big picture of MAF.

Thursday, October 22
Lift up Trey and Laurie Dewey, an accountant/teacher family who are preparing to serve in Papua, Indonesia. Pray that God would provide the right people to join their prayer and financial support teams.

Friday, October 23
Praise God that the MAF-supported pastor team in Tlhanyaku, Lesotho, has an established Sunday service with six new believers. In the surrounding villages, their Bible studies are meeting regularly. Pray that these new believers would follow Jesus and seek to understand the Bible for themselves rather than putting their effort into strengthening their allegiances to any particular pastor.

Saturday, October 24
Lift up Chad and Jamie Dimon, a pilot/mechanic family serving in Nyankunde, DRC. Pray for peace in their region militia groups’ arms surrendered, and lives turned to Christ. Pray for country borders to open so that airplanes can get needed maintenance in Uganda. Pray for endurance through these challenging times.

Sunday, October 25
Praise God that Covid-19 has been very mild so far in Mozambique. The number of registered cases has been manageable to date. Pray that it continues to be true.
