Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, November 4
    Please pray for Larry and Sharon, who are retiring after 40 years of service with MAF. They served in Kenya, Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other challenging places. Larry is a pilot/mechanic and Sharon is a school teacher who touched many young lives around the world. Pray that they will be a blessing and blessed in this new season of life.
  • Tuesday, November 5
    MAF continues to have difficulty obtaining avgas in Mozambique. Please pray for a long-term solution that will reduce the cost and labor.
  • Wednesday, November 6
    Please pray for the people of Mozambique, that they would become truly free of fear and that they will live in the peace and freedom that Christ brings.
  • Thursday, November 7
    Two physicians with the MozMed flying doctor service are planning on leaving Mozambique towards the end of next year. Please pray that God would provide new doctors so this vital healthcare work can continue.
  • Friday, November 8
    The MAF hospital house ministry in Kalimantan, Indonesia, is up and running. Pray for the MAF staff members heading it up, as well as for the patients and families who seek accommodations there.
  • Saturday, November 9
    Please lift up Steve and Carol Lehman who serve at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Steve is assistant manager of safety and Carol is administrative assistant in the Recruiting department. They have been with MAF for some 26 years and previously served with the MAF program in Ecuador. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/lehman.
  • Sunday, November 10
    Pray for the people of Haiti as they continue to rebuild from the 2010 earthquake and seek a better life in the rapidly changing country.
