Priorities for Prayer

Welcome to the new electronic version of the MAF Prayer Connection! Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, January 16
    Please lift up Carol Hoekstra, who served with MAF for some 40 years. Carol has been ill recently. Pray for health and healing.
  • Tuesday, January 17
    Continue to pray for Celime, a 12-year-old Haitian boy who was badly burned over the top half of his body when he mistook gasoline for kerosene while cooking for his siblings. MAF transported Celine from Pignon to Port-au-Prince on December 26. He is currently receiving treatment at the Shriner’s Hospital in Boston, and has undergone several skin grafts.
  • Wednesday, January 18
    The MAF program in Kalimantan, Indonesia is currently experiencing avgas shortages, forcing them to limit flights.  Please pray that they are able to obtain the needed fuel soon.
  • Thursday, January 19
    Tim and Kathy Maynard with the MAF Kalimantan program lead “Story Time with the Prophets” for some 20 local children. Pray for wisdom and open hearts as they begin to teach about Jesus.
  • Friday, January 20
    Please lift up Pastor Hendri who ministers in a small village in Kalimantan. On Christmas Day MAF flew Hendri to the hospital following a stroke. He appears to be recovering now.  Pray for his continued health and ministry effectiveness.
  • Saturday, January 21
    Remember James, a teenager at the Love Haiti orphanage.  James dreams of being a pilot someday and recently took his first flight courtesy of the MAF Haiti program.
  • Sunday, January 22
    MAF needs missionary teachers!  Please ask the Lord to bring godly people to teach MKs in Indonesia and Central Asia. Learn more at www.maf.org/page.aspx?pid=454.
