December 3 – 9, 2012

“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”—John 15:7-8 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, December 3
Please lift up Wilhelmina Krul who serves with MAF in Haiti. She was hospitalized in the Dominican Republic last week after being stricken with dengue hemorrhagic fever. Thankfully, she appears to be on the road to recovery. You can find updates on Wilhelmina’s status on the family’s blog, http://mafkrul.blogspot.com.
  • Tuesday, December 4
Give thanks that all MAF staff are safe following recent unrest in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Pray for the MAF families that have been evacuated temporarily from Bunia to Uganda.
  • Wednesday, December 5
Three MAF pilots remain in Bunia to provide flight services. They ask continued prayer for wisdom and that they will be gracious to all in times of insecurity.
  • Thursday, December 6
The MAF team in Tarakan, Kalimantan, Indonesia needs our prayer support as they seek accreditation for their missionary school. This will help provide quality education for our MKs while reducing staff turn-over.
  • Friday, December 7
Pray for the MAF Canada team serving in northern Canada. Extreme winter weather is very challenging for both the pilots and the people they serve.
  • Saturday, December 8
Pray for the MAF team in Papua, Indonesia as they deal with variable weather conditions and many flight requests in the time leading up to Christmas.
  • Sunday, December 9
Praise God that over 1,000 Bibles have now been sold or given away to people in remote communities of Papua New Guinea since the MAF-Learning Technologies ministry commenced there.
