April 13 – 19, 2015

“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.” — Psalm 133 (NIV)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, April 13
Please pray for the MAF team in Haiti. Eight missionary families and 16 Haitian staff operate a base in Port-au-Prince that serves 14 airstrips.
  • Tuesday, April 14
Pray that MAF Haiti will receive government approval to construct a short taxiway to join the hangar to the airport ramp.
  • Wednesday, April 15
MAF’s hangar facility in Haiti is not tied to the airport electrical grid. A generator is used during business hours. Pray that the electrical project the airport is planning will be funded and completed soon.
  • Thursday, April 16
After years of delay, elections in Haiti have been scheduled for August 9 and October 25. Pray for fair elections and good leaders to be put in government offices.
  • Friday, April 17
Public demonstrations are common in Haiti. As the country prepares for elections, pray that demonstrations will be few, and peaceful.
  • Saturday, April 18
Pray about the spiritual battles that are common in Haiti: Ideas, values, and practices from the voodoo culture and religion still show themselves, sometimes even within the church.
  • Sunday, April 19
Pray that MAF’s personnel in Haiti will be salt and light, sharing the love of Jesus with those they meet.
