Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 6
    The MAF team in Lesotho is comprised of nine missionary families and eight local staff ministering with five airplanes. Please pray that the team will be effective in their work to be the hands and feet of Jesus in Lesotho..
  • Tuesday, October 7
    The Lesotho team is preparing to relocate to the Moshoeshoe International Airport. Please pray that the move will go smoothly with little disruption to MAF’s service. Read more.
  • Wednesday, October 8
    Give thanks that the MAF team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been able to work with other agencies to coordinate efforts in the fight against Ebola. Continue to pray for the many people infected with Ebola in DRC and west Africa, as well as for those treating them. Ask God to halt the outbreaks.
  • Thursday, October 9
    Please lift up Brad and Kristian Westom, who serve in the Member Care department at MAF headquarters. Brad and Kristian are involved in discipling new staff as they join MAF and prepare to go overseas, and also serve as a resource for missionaries as they face challenges on the field.     Please pray for the Hangout in the Hangar event happening tonight at the MAF hangar in Nampa, Idaho. Pray that many college-age people will attend and learn about the ministry of MAF.

    MAF is in need of more Christian pilots and mechanics willing to serve God in the isolated parts of the world. Ask the Lord to call qualified candidates to His service. Learn more.
